Note:

Weekly games 1, 2, 3, & 8 can be played starting Fridays at 1 p.m ET. All other games can be played starting Thursdays at 1 p.m. ET. All games end on Tuesdays at 6:59 p.m. ET February 14 - May 20, 2008.

Step 2 of 4 – Click “START BRACKET” to begin creating your bracket.

• Click on the American Idol contestant(s) in the order you think they will be eliminated on the AMERICAN IDOL® show. (A)
• Follow the prompts that tell you how many to eliminate at a time. Click on your selections, then click on NEXT ROUND. (B)
• Check out your ELIMINATION BOARD below to view all the people you've eliminated. (C)
• Continue to eliminate contestants until you have created an entire bracket, and you see the words “YOUR PREDICTED WINNER.”
• If you're happy with your completed bracket, HIT SAVE.
• If you want to make changes, click EDIT and switch your selections.

Step 3 of 4 – Review your bracket.

• Make sure your bracket shows the contestants eliminated in the order you think they will be leaving the AMERICAN IDOL® show. If it doesn't, please return to your bracket and EDIT. You can switch selections around by clicking on 1 name and putting it on top of another. You may return to your bracket every day and edit until it is time to lock in your final selections at 6:59 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.
• At this time, you can PRINT your bracket. Watch AMERICAN IDOL® on FOX and compare your predictions. (A)
• Pretty fun, huh? To make it more exciting, challenge a friend by filling out our TELL A FRIEND page. We'll send an e-mail inviting your friend to play and you can compete all season long to see who the best Idol Eliminator is!

Note: Your bracket will be locked at 6:59 p.m. ET on Tuesdays. Make sure you have SAVED it by then to be eligible for the cash prize.

Step 4 of 4 – Keep playing all season long.

• The cool thing about this is that you can play a new game every week until the final AMERICAN IDOL® show. Each new game will ask you to predict the order of elimination for the remaining contestants on the show all the way down to #1. Limit one game code play per email address per day.
• To keep playing, you can use one of your banked codes or enter a new game code. Click on START BRACKET and create your new bracket. (A)
• Play every week after the show eliminations have been posted to the game.
• Each completed bracket is identified by the date it was saved and by a colored star representing a cash prize. Refer to the star color key to determine the cash prize amount you could win for each game. (B)
